Prince William Chamber Welcomes Jennifer Hoskins as Membership Sales Representative
Prince William, Virginia – This month the Prince William Chamber of Commerce added Membership Sales Representative Jennifer Hoskins to their staff. She will be working in the Chamber’s Gainesville office beginning in November 2011. The new hire reflects the commitment of the Chamber’s Board of Directors to strategically grow membership over the next five years.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences from Colorado University. She has been a resident of Northern Virginia since 1984 and moved to Prince William County 10 years ago. She comes to the Chamber with over 15 years of HR, marketing and sales experience, having worked primarily business-to-business with C-level executives. In addition to extensive sales experience, she also understands small business. She started her business, Two Dots Marketing, several years ago and currently co-owns A+ Academics, a tutoring center in Gainesville, Virginia. Most recently she served as Community Relations Specialist & Education Recruiter at ITT Technical Institute in Springfield, Virginia.
“I have a passion for small business, which means that I am really excited to work for the Prince William Chamber,” says Jennifer. “When I learned that, of the Chamber’s nearly 2,000 members, roughly 85 percent are small businesses, I could not wait to start.” Hoskins notes that the tutoring center she co-owns has been a member of the Prince William Chamber for six years. “My job is to educate businesses on what the Chamber does and how they can benefit. Once they have all of the information in their hands, the decision of whether to join is an easy one.”
Rob Clapper, President & CEO of the Prince William Chamber of Commerce says,
“Jennifer has already begun bringing in new members in the short time she has been
with us. Her excitement about the Chamber is contagious, both from a new member
standpoint, but also for those of us on staff. She is full of ideas on how we can
leverage current programs for greater impact. We are pleased to have her on our
team.”
